Homemade Cocoa Gravy
Ingredients
Makes 4 servings
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 tablespoons cocoa
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups milk
- 4 tablespoons butter
- Vital Farms eggs cooked your preferred way, to serve
- biscuits, to serve
- sausage, to serve
Instructions
- In a saucepan, whisk together the flour, cocoa, and sugar.
- Gradually whisk in the milk until smooth.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and begins to gently bubble.
- Remove from heat and stir in the butter and vanilla until smooth.
- Serve warm over biscuits with sausage and Vital Farms eggs for a yummy Southern breakfast!
